GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The Customer must verify the contents in the Service Report & sign when the device is being handed over for repairs.
  2. The Customer must produce the Original Service Report at the time of taking the delivery of the device.
  3. The device found with liquid damage or tamper will not be covered under warranty. The defective parts replaced on repairs of the device under warranty will be returned to Apple India as per policy.
  4. The charges for labour and spares used for out of warranty repairs shall be applicable as per exchange price approved by Apple India Pvt. Ltd.
  5. The AASP shall try to ensure that the repair of device within 7 working days. At times however, due to non-availability/short supply of critical spare parts or complicated repairs, the repair turnaround time may take longer than indicated while accepting the device for repair. The AASP shall not be responsible for any compensation for delay in repair for such reasons.
  6. The AASP is not liable for any delays, non-performance, failure or non-delivery of the device due to contingencies arising from any force majeure, Act of God, storm, earthquake, accident, strikes, lockdown, industrial dispute, labour disputes, transportation which renders it impossible for the AASP to function.
  7. The estimate given on acceptance of the product for repairs is provisional and may vary on detailed inspection. In case of increase of repair charges, the AASP will proceed only after taking the approval of the Customer.
  8. Once the repair process is started, the AASP can’t give back the device unless the repair process is fully completed.
  9. If the final estimate is not approved by the customer within 5 days, the product will be returned in "as is condition (partly repaired/unrepaired)".
  10. Device Storage: The customer shall take the delivery of the product within 30 (Thirty) days of written intimation from AASP. If the delivery is not taken by the customer within the stipulated timeframe, the AASP reserves the right to Auction the device to recover the repair/storage/other charges as applicable. In case the device is not collected by the customer within the said period, customer will be charged a penalty fee of INR 500 per week till the said device is collected back by the customer. Macintel Solutions will safely store the device only for a period of 6 months.
  11. Loaner Devices:For customers who have been allocated a Loaner Device from AASP against signed loaner agreement, he/she has to collect his/her own device within 14 (fourteen) days from date of 1st intimation by the AASP.
  12. Only visually noticeable damages in the device are mentioned in the service report while receiving the device. Actual problem / defect in the device will be known after diagnosis/ opening of the device by service engineer.
  13. In case of loss of service report, the customer has to comply with our standard defined norms while collecting the device. The same is conducted to ensure security of the customer and the AASP.
  14. As per Apple Policy, if the AASP finds any hardware issue in diagnosis, in-Warranty Devices, the device will be sent to the Apple Repair Centre without opening the same for further diagnosis.
  15. Unit /Part replacement for devices under warranty are solely governed by the manufacturer’s warranty policy as available on www.apple.com/in.
  16. AASP shall receive customer’s device(s) without opening and diagnose within 48 hours and intimate the customers.
  17. Warranty/Quality Program/Customer Satisfaction Code / APP / AC+ / Unauthorised modification /Accidental damage are subject to verification by Apple Repair Center depending on problem(s) inspected by us.
  18. AASP is not responsible for any customized modifications / Unauthorised modification /Accidental damage on device by the customers as well as the customer’s data in the device.
  19. AASP shall receive device(s) only after Visual Inspection and without checking any Hardware, Software or Data.
  20. In case of any unauthorized modification/tamper/liquid damage/ Accidental damage, the device may not be returned in the same / original condition as it was received.
  21. In case of any exchange or replacement of Apple devices, the faulty part will be returned back to Apple. This clause is applicable for both in-warranty & out of warranty devices.
  22. Service/ Diagnosis/Labour charges are non refundable & non transferable.
  23. Battery Replacement: Only battery of the concerned device shall be replaced. Other hardware problems, if any, will be treated on chargeable. AASP shall not be responsible for any hardware related and/or physical condition of the device. Ordering of Battery to Apple shall be done without checking any hardware condition of the device. Customer must visit the AASP with his/her device within 7 days of receiving intimation of his/her device battery arrival. Old battery in such cases has to be returned back to Apple. In case of any existing hardware problem the device may not be returned in its condition when received. If battery replacement is not possible, customer have to pay inspection charge at the time of delivery.
  24. Payment Terms: 100% advance along with the purchase order to Macintel Solutions is to be paid. In case of cheque payments, the cheque shall be in favour of Macintel Solutions. Product(s) will be delivered only after realization of the cheque. Any Quotation given by the AASP shall be valid for 5 working days. An order once placed cannot be cancelled.
  25. All Legal matters/disputes shall be referred to Arbitration under Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 and award of the Arbitrator shall be final and binding on parties. The area of Jurisdiction for all such disputes shall be restricted to Kolkata only.
  26. Quality Program Criteria: Diagnosis will be conducted only on the product issue which is related to the Quality Program. Macintel Solutions will not be liable to check any other hardware issue on the said device. If device is ineligible for Quality Program, customer have to pay inspection charge at the time of delivery.
  27. Disclaimer to be signed by customers who carry iPhone (all model) into India and submit such device to ASP or carrier for service. The Customer has been advised that any device offered/provided subsequently to the Customer by Macintel Solutions, by way of device replacement as per applicable Apple Policies / T&C will be a device allowed / authorized for sale / import as per Indian laws and other applicable regulations and may not necessarily be the exact model type / same frequency configuration as initially purchased by the customer outside India.
  28. If the device is not eligible for warranty service due to Unauthorised Modification, Physical Damage, Liquid Damage,Accidental Damage,etc customer have to pay inspection charge/ diagnosis charge at the time of delivery.
